A guide to every cycle
The same number takes on a different scale in each cycle. A 4 Year focuses on lasting foundations; a 4 Month organizes the work; a 4 Day gives you a concrete task.
Personal Year 1
A Personal Year 1 opens a new nine-year cycle. Its focus is initiative: choosing a direction and building confidence through action.

The method behind your forecast
Calculate your forecast above to see how your Year, Month, and Day are formed.
This guide uses a Western calendar-year convention. Personal Year runs from January 1 to December 31, Personal Month changes on the first day of each calendar month, and Personal Day changes with the date you select.
Cycle totals reduce to 1–9, including totals of 11, 22, and 33. The chart tool keeps master numbers; this cycle method uses their single-digit roots. Some schools count a Personal Year from birthday to birthday instead.
Your Life Path uses your full birth date and stays the same. Your cycle numbers use your birth month and day together with the date you are looking at, so the year, month, and day themes change over time.
Your Numerology Chart →Numerology reads recurring numbers as themes for growth, expression, and experience. Our Year, Month, and Day meanings connect those traditional associations with original examples and practical exercises.
The calculation follows the single-digit approach described in Numerology.com’s Personal Day calculation guide (opens in a new tab). Its example—October 12 for March 16, 2020—gives a Personal Day 9. Our forecast uses the same result, with the Year and Month stages shown separately.
